I represent the Sanger TX Senior Center as the elected Board President. Along with five additional Board Members, we’re a volunteer full operational governing body for the Senior Center. We are supported by the City of Sanger as they are allowing us to lease a city owned facility.
Our mission is to provide a community based location where our Senior Community (50+) can find social opportunities to meet new friends, pursue hobbies and pastimes with other likeminded individual; provide educational opportunities in nutrition, health, safety and other vital information; various exercise classes; and to have our Seniors connect to the community.
Our goal is to have a Senior Center that will become a focal point for our community and an asset to the city of Sanger.
