Event Description:
Middle and High School Students from North Texas through the Metroplex are invited to participate in a Jury Art Show! Groupings will be 7th-8th grade, Art I and Art II, Art III, IV and AP. First, Second, Third and Honorable Mentions will be awarded in each bracket. Prizes will include medals and merchandise awards.

Show will be hung inside Kamme Art Gallery during Sanger Sellabration and if waivers are signed by parents, pieces will be available for sale with no commission. Pieces do not have to be for sale.

There will be a $5 entry fee per piece with the fees going to the Kamme Art Scholarship run by the SEF (Sanger Education Foundation).

Accepted media will include, drawings- pastel, charcoal, pencil; paintings-oil, acrylic, watercolor; photography; digital art; sculpture; pottery; glasswork and jewelry. (No nudity)

Drawings, photographs, digital art, and watercolor need to be framed and under glass/plexiglass, with wire hangers on back- no sawtooth hangers.
Acrylic and oil paintings must have finished edges or be framed with wire hangers on the back for either presentation.
Pedestals and tables will be provided for all 3D work.
Size limitations for 2d work is 24x24.

Students get your cameras, canvas, pencils, pastels- whatever medium you prefer out and produce your masterpiece(s)! Due date for juror selection will be August 31, 2017! With delivery of chosen pieces on September 5-7, 2017!
